Countless Successes Throughout Our History

E.B. Williams founded this law firm in 1914. Personal injury claims, real estate law, and oil and gas rights of mineral and royalty owners were his focus until his death in 1976. A strong advocate for clients, he always remembered that his position as an officer of the court demanded respect to the court, opposing counsel, parties, and witnesses.

In 1946, after service in World War II, his sons E.B. Williams, Jr., and Lampton O. Williams joined the firm, which became Williams & Williams. The firm advocated a team approach to advancing the causes of injured clients, which enlarged on and expanded the reputation E.B. Williams had built. E.B. Williams, Jr. practiced law until his death in December 1990. Lampton O. Williams remained active in the firm until his death in April 2015 at the age of 96.

Joe H. Montgomery joined the firm in 1966, and eight years later the firm became Williams, Williams and Montgomery, P.A. E. Bragg Williams, III joined the firm in 1973; L.
